The customer service here is absolutely horrible. They were rude and disrespectful on the phone when asking about availability. Management needs to look at training people better, especially if there are going to be speaking to potential/existing tenants. In addition to the other horrible reviews, I would not recommend looking at this place and take your money elsewhere.

Do not rent here. They lied to my elderly mother. Then scammed her out of $5k. Preying on the elderly. Lying. They show you 1 apartment, then rent you something COMPLETELY different. Plus the office woman got on my moms personal phone and logged her out of her Gmail and created a new one to which only that woman knows the passwords to. Preying on the elderly. Horrible. I am contacting a lawyer and the BBB. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMING THEIVES!!!

I have had an awesome experience interacting with the team at Dickinson Apartments! I highly recommend them. They regularly communicated with me via phone calls, texts and emails. They were very patient with me with alll my questions ! I’m so grateful !

Roaches all over the place, they charge for pest control but never came into our apartment to spray. Poor communication between office staff, add extra charges when you move out. The office stated they would have washer and dryers in by November of 2022 and still did not have them installed when we moved out in July. Our building did not have a lock on our outside door until 8 months after moving in. There are plenty of other places in Springfield worth living at other than this place.

Since touring this property, I have decided not to move to Springfield, but I wanted to take the time to leave a review about my experience and encourage others to look into Dickinson Apartments. All of the staff, especially the property manager, were friendly, helpful, and professional and it would be a great place to call Home if I hadn’t accepted a job offer in a different state. Highly recommend!

I am a former resident of the Dickinson Apartments. I am giving this establishment, a one star due to the fact that only me and the maintenance people had a key to my unit. I went to vacation came back and I had items stolen from me in the value of $895, I am mediately contacted my office and received no response. I also let him know that my closet has been ransacked through. I emailed and called and yet not a word. This all occurred September 2, 2023. It is now. October 17 and still I have not heard a single word from Dickinson apartments nor candles in which they have us to text call or email but what I did receive was a letter on my door for the first day of October stating that I owed the $905 and as of today October 17 I now have an outstanding bill of $1000 but where was the safety and concern for my well-being Where was the safety and concern for someone walking into my apartment that is not me where is the concern for management to actually reach out to the residence because if a white woman was to say her apartment was broken into and her expensive items were stolen from her than effort would have been made immediately so I am writing this review in hopes that maybe somebody from that office can contact me because I refuse to have to pay for something when I gave you my 60 day notice through email because no one will answer the phone to actually set up a meeting to talk to me about the situation, or even accommodate me For my items being stolen I also turned in my key October 9 so how is it that on October 10 you were slapping me with $100 fine that I was 10 days late. Even when I turned in my key, the ladies at the candles office were very rude. They continue to have the conversation even though as you walk into the office, there’s a very loud time to alert you that someone is there. The lady looked, will continue to keep talking until I actually said I’m excuse me that was when it was brought to her attention that I needed her help and even with that she took my envelope With my key and just opened it didn’t even seem as if she cared, but acted as if me handing in my key actually bothered her because she had to stop talking .

The girls in the office are very nice and easy to talk to, they have been very responsive! The two maintenance guys they have are AMAZING! I had an issue I put a work order in for and they were there the next morning and had it fixed in minutes!
